About
Every year Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra releases its notification for applicants seeking admission to four years full-time Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BHMCT) programme. Aspirants can obtain its application form from 1st March, 2017 and they can appear for the test going to be held on 9th July, 2017.
The program is offered at BIT Mesra Campus Only.
Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants are recommended to ensure their eligibility first before they plan to apply for admission. Your documents will be verified at several stages and at any stage if you are found ineligible, your candidature would be cancelled at that time:
- Aspirants those have cleared Intermediate/class 12th or its equivalent exam with securing minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST category students) and English as one of the subjects can apply.
- Date of birth of General/OBC category candidates should fall on or after 1st October 1991 (1st October 1986 if you belong to PwD/SC/ST category) for applying to this test.
How to Apply
Aspirants who’d like to apply for BHMCT programme offered by BIT Mesra they need to apply online for the same by visiting its official website.

Applications which are received after the prescribed deadline won’t be accepted.
List of enclosures need to attached with application form are:
- Recently taken colored photograph (one copy).
- Evidence which shows that you made the payment of application fee through State Bank Collect.
- Passing certificate and mark sheet of your class 10th and 12th
- Caste certificate, in case applicable.
- Necessary certificate for applicants belonging to Person with Disability / Kashmiri Migrant.
- One identification proof such as Passport, Driving license, PAN Card, College ID, Voter ID, Employee Identification Card etc.

BIT Mesra Hotel Management Application Submission
Candidate must send the application form in A4 size envelope by speed Post/ any reliable courier (by which sender may track the movement on the internet) which should be reached positively by the 26 June 2017.
Candidate must write "Application for BHMCT-2017" on the top of the envelope.

Candidates are requested to keep a copy of their completed forms with them for the future reference. If applications are received after the due date, they are liable to be rejected or may not be processed. Candidate must not print a blank form an fill it by hand as this will not be accepted.

Selection of candidates would be solely based on their performance in the entrance exam organized by the institute.
